First Immigration Trip!

This is a short and sweet post because I wanted to share with y'all a milestone in my journey as a missionary. I had to make a trip to the capital, Guatemala City, and their Migracion office to renew my Visa for another 90 days! It was a nerve-wracking experience as we had bloqueos, or blockades throughout the country due to some unrest within politics. I ended up having to take a spontaneous trip to complete the documentation as there was a day without these blockades and more were announced for the following day!
Again, I received support and guidance from the seasoned missionaries here and without their help I believe I would have struggled with the process. The building is hard to find, and there isn't available parking, so I relied on the advice and tricks of what to do from others! All said and done, I was in and out of the office within an hour and a half and am good to go for another 90 days! The next time I will have to leave the country for 72 hours and fortunately I have that trip already scheduled and booked.

I have never received a sticker before in a passport book, so another check mark in the new experiences’ column of life!
With love,
Bryan Crabtree
