Guatemala - 1st Year Complete!
December 02, 2025 As I sit here in the airport waiting for my flight to the states, I reminisce on the year that I have had and the beginning of many years. I would like to recap a little of what has been done over this year and what I had the privilege to be apart of! I personally was involved with 15 teams this year each one doing something slightly different than the next but all with the focus of spreading Gods love “Una vida a la vez” through building homes, distri

My Birthday in Guatemala!
May 01, 2025 My first birthday in Guatemala was celebrated while leading a team here in a place called San Jose El Idolo. It was a new location for me while being full-time this year, and it was a challenging and rewarding week! It was a bit of a surreal experience for me because most would say I was “working” on my birthday, but in reality, it was a dream come true and a full-circle experience of the many birthdays I wished to be here and that I prayed about this very exp

First Immigration Trip!
April 28, 2025 This is a short and sweet post because I wanted to share with y'all a milestone in my journey as a missionary. One of the main reasons I found Guatemala outside of God's plan on my life was through a man who coined the phrase and used the words in order of importance. His name was Chris Currie, and I will forever

First Few Teams & DRIVING!
February 2025 And just like that, the teams started coming! Meanwhile, I was still moving trying to get situated. I had to learn the roads here and also get comfortable with the town and driving conditions. I was less worried about the driving aspect and more worried about getting lost or making a wrong turn. This has so far been the scariest road I have driven down and I even had to ask Ben Mooney to get me out of a pickle. I have gotten better and better at driving these

Arriving in Guatemala!!!
January 04, 2025 So, the journey has officially begun. I quit my job, frantically got most of my belongings together into 5 suitcases and a computer bag and headed off to Guatemala. I even got to bring a friend along, my dad! To say the Lord is leading is an understatement. There have been several setbacks and things that have tripped up the process but we remain on the path. As of right now, my dad and I are relaxing after all night and day of traveling on little to no
