Guatemala - 1st Year Complete!

As I sit here in the airport waiting for my flight to the states, I reminisce on the year that I have had and the beginning of many years.

I would like to recap a little of what has been done over this year and what I had the privilege to be apart of!

I personally was involved with 15 teams this year each one doing something slightly different than the next but all with the focus of spreading Gods love “Una vida a la vez” through building homes, distributing wheelchairs and loving people! Additionally, I worked with Tulio, the wheelchair warehouse organizer, and helped him by categorizing and preparing all of the crutches and canes in the warehouse! They are all ready for teams in the new year!

Finally, for November, we had our annual camp for people with disabilities! The theme was “Brillarás” or You will shine! That not only speaks to each person shining, but also that Christ may shine through us! This was a much different experience for me being on the other side of helping with camp. I can tell you that camp is non-stop and now I truly understand what that means!
